OM (formerly Operation Mobilisation) is a group of disciples organised into an interdenominational evangelical mission agency dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission and training other disciples in the process.

We recruit, equip and send God's people, in partnership with the church, to share the love of Jesus with the world. We are involved in church planting, discipling, aid and development, major literature distribution projects and we also run two ocean-going ships. OM's 5,400 staff currently work alongside local churches in more than 110 countries around the globe.

OM is not merely an organisation, it is a movement - a movement of people who want to be disciples of Jesus Christ and take the Great Commission seriously.  OM Australia is the national branch of OM International. We seek to expand the mission vision of the local church through prayer, training and the assisting of Christians to get more involved in hands-on missions.

OM Australia is committed to:

• encouraging and supporting Australian churches to mobilise God's people into cross-cultural ministry both in Australia and overseas
• establishing a firm financial base for all workers and ministries in Australia and overseas
• developing an effective pastoral care network
