Poverty in rural Central Asia drives many men to seek work in Russia for months or years at a time. Although labor migration ensures economic survival of many rural families year-to-year, its long-term consequences are horrific – the current increases in family breakdown and substance abuse and especially the rising rate of HIV infection can all be directly linked to labor migration.

Our development organization’s projects take a holistic approach to health education, addressing the facts related to sexual health, HIV infection and other health issues within a moral framework where deeper issues are also addressed. In traditional Central Asian culture, such subjects are normally discussed in single sex groups. As a result, our development organization urgently needs men with a health background and training gifts who can lead community-based health education projects aimed at men.

Join an exciting new programme as part of a year out! Spend seven months travelling around seven different countries in Europe, in an international team, reaching people with the gospel, finishing with an outreach in the Mediterranean!

You will start in England with a three week orientation where you will learn how to share the gospel and receive training in skills for ministry.  You will then use and develop these skills through a variety of opportunities such as youth and children's ministry, sports ministry, street evangelism and community projects as you travel around Europe, including some Eastern European countries.

Serving the US field, the HR Coordinator works with the Director of Human Resources to maintain payroll, benefits, and personnel details for the staff of the US office.

Working with our Placement Team, the Inquirer Scouting Coordinator responds to persons interested in serving with missions overseas.  Duties include following up and building relationships with applicants as they go through the application process as well as assisting the Placement Advisors in facilitating appropriate placement in the Global Action/Global Service Programs.

Help meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of American missionaries as they serve overseas. Interacting with missionaries on a regular basis, praying with them, counseling through issues, helping them fulfill their calling by supporting their needs and debrief them upon reentry. Coordinators should have at least six months overseas experience for this role to assist them in job duties.

Come and serve as a nurse on the Clinic boat, visiting patients in villages along the shores of Lake Tanganyika.

We need a person who will act as skipper/deck man and be responsible for the maintenance on an 8-man boat. 

The boat will serve as a medical clinic and will visit villages on the shores of Lake Tanganyika once a month on the Zambian side from Tanzania to D.R. Congo border (± 230 km roundtrip visiting ± 11 villages)

In Mpulungu on the shores of Lake Tanganyika is a school for orphan children.  These little people are in need to teachers who loves the Lord and who will love them.

Our Orphan school runs from pre-school to grade 2. 

Other areas of ministry will include children’s ministry, tutoring school children, presenting literacy classes and being involved in the ladies ministry.
