We are actively involved in local missions as well as sending people overseas.

God is doing some exciting things through the OM team in Sydney. Here are the key activities we are involved in:

OM Australia is excited to announce the launch of a training base in Sydney from 2010.

There are two intakes - January and September directly following the GO conferences, and participants can join for six months or one year. The course is named SURF:

Submitting to and knowing God (solid Biblical foundations)

Understanding yourself (discovering how God has uniquely wired you)

Reaching out to others (hands-on cross-cultural outreach and mission trips)

Faith-filled living  (releasing your gifts and resources to be used for God)

SURF is designed for young adults and consists of a balance of theory and hands-on ministry. It is about motivating and training the next generation to follow the Living Lord and equipping them to share God's love with others. Participants choose a specific focus - Reaching Muslims; Working with a multi-cultural church plant or joining the TeenStreet team. Whatever stream is chosen, all will have a chance to experience each of the other ministries as well.
