OM Australia believes that the local church is God’s primary instrument to evangelise the world. Bible-believing churches and OM share the conviction that God has commissioned all of us to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. Your church and OM can help fulfill the Great Commission as we work together in God’s plan for the world, both locally and globally.
OM Australia desires to serve church leaders and pastors as they lead their churches to be “on mission with God.” Hundreds of churches around the globe have commissioned and sent members as their ambassadors in ministry as a part of OM teams. Serving and partnering with local churches is an integral part of our mission.

Invite an OM Missionary to your church’s missions conference or Global Impact Celebration to share what God is doing around the world and to interact with your members. Missionaries currently on the field, on home assignment or those working in our office are available to come to your church. We can also connect you with nationals serving with OM in their own countries. |
Explore Partnership With OM! Invite an OM leader to meet with your church leadership to discuss how we can work together. We have found that face to face interaction is the best way to develop stronger relationships. We would like to learn about your church and your mission’s strategy, and then be able to share potential opportunities for partnership that you can consider. Inquire about an OM leader coming to meet with your leadership.

OM Australia is excited to announce the launch of a training base in Sydney from 2010.
There are two intakes - January and September directly following the GO conferences, and participants can join for six months or one year. The course is named SURF:
Submitting to and knowing God (solid Biblical foundations)
Understanding yourself (discovering how God has uniquely wired you)
Reaching out to others (hands-on cross-cultural outreach and mission trips)
Faith-filled living (releasing your gifts and resources to be used for God)
SURF is designed for young adults and consists of a balance of theory and hands-on ministry. It is about motivating and training the next generation to follow the Living Lord and equipping them to share God's love with others. Participants choose a specific focus - Reaching Muslims; Working with a multi-cultural church plant or joining the TeenStreet team. Whatever stream is chosen, all will have a chance to experience each of the other ministries as well.
