"His passion was infectious!"; “I never knew OM was so vast and varied. I am learning more about OM all the time,” was some of the feedback received after the recent OM Celebration dinners. Almost 2,000 guests enjoyed an evening in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth to listen to OM Founder George Verwer speak, and hear of God’s faithfulness through OM testimonies. Each dinner was different and the Lord touched people in numerous ways.
“It was so good to have some OM fellowship again. I had been starving for it, living so far north,” shared one guest.

The World Cup has provided opportunities for outreach on Logos Hope . Sierra Leoneans watched a televised match in the fully-equipped Hope Theatre. Five matches were televised on different days.
The event begins with a video about Christian footballers and then a soccer drama consisting of a juggling competition between outreach coordinator Marcio (Brazil) and a volunteer from the crowd. The loser had to “pay” the consequences of doing 10 push-ups. When Marcio lost, a friend came on stage and insisted that he pay the penalty instead. “I paid for him because 2000 years ago Jesus Christ paid for my mistakes by dying on the Cross. Marcio made a mistake on number 52. I paid for him because he’s my friend,” said Steven (UK).
